The Arab Council for Childhood and Development (ACCD) in Egypt has published Issue No. 51 of its peer-reviewed scientific periodical, Childhood and Development, which focused on the theme of “Children in Difficult and Critical Circumstances: Between the Problem and the Solution”.

The issue also included studies and research on children’s literature and its role in developing their linguistic skills, digital children’s literature, the challenges faced by early childhood education teachers in teaching young children, in addition to other translated materials and articles.

It is worth mentioning that Childhood and Development is a scientific peer-reviewed academic periodical, aimed at publishing enlightened scientific thought that addresses various childhood issues in the Arab world through rigorous academic research conducted by researchers, experts, and professors from across the Arab region. The journal publishes studies, research papers, articles, experiences, book reviews, academic theses, conference reports, seminars, and discussion panels, as well as translations across different fields of childhood studies. It is overseen by an advisory, scientific, and editorial board.
