It is with great sadness that I receive the news of the passing of our dear Youssef.

He is a tremendous loss to all of us, to the Arab Region, and to the global community he served so dedicatedly. Youssef was a remarkable champion for child rights and human dignity. His legacy will undoubtedly continue to inspire our shared work, particularly during these devastating times and amid the global silence on the atrocities committed against children and their families.

My deepest condolences, and those of the Early Childhood Peace Consortium (ECPC), to his family, and everyone at the Arab Resource Collective (ARC) during this difficult time.

May he rest in peace.
