Words cannot express the depth of our pain and sorrow at the loss of the brother and teacher, the late Youssef Hajjar. As we recall with deep loyalty and gratitude his pivotal role in establishing, developing, and enhancing the reach of ANECD, we acknowledge his boundless support for everyone who worked with him and knew him. He was a true mentor and advisor, generously offering counsel and kind words with his genuine smile, warm and cheerful spirit, and distinguished presence. He was a symbol of refinement and generosity as well as a remarkable advocate for childhood and humanitarian causes. The void of his passing is irreplaceable, but his memory, his intellectual and humanitarian legacy will remain our guiding compass.

On behalf of myself and the Tunisian Network for Early Childhood, we extend our sincere condolences and sympathy to his honorable family, his colleagues, and all his journey companions, asking for peace and tranquility for his pure soul.
