12 October 2026
Dr. Amer Alaisri, Sultanate of Oman, Assistant Dean of Student Affairs for Guidance and Student Activities and Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Early Education, Sultan Qaboos University.
A loss as big as the sky.
Our hearts are very saddened by the news.
We learned a lot from our professor, Dr. Yousef Hajjar.
His smile is enough to give us tireless energy in scholarly activity, particularly in the fields of education and childhood.
May his soul rest in peace.
May his family, relatives, and loved ones be granted patience and solace.

Dr. Asmaa Al-Khatib/ Jordan, Education and Early Childhood Expert and Member of the Jordanian Early Childhood Network.
Youssef Hajjar,
Farewell words remain difficult, and the reality of your passing is still hard to grasp. You left a beautiful impact on our souls, sincere affection in our hearts, and cherished moments and memories that will stay with us forever.
You were a kind person, close to everyone. Your presence left an indelible impression on all who knew you. You have departed, but your good legacy endures, and your memory will remain alive whenever we speak of you.
Farewell, our esteemed teacher Youssef. May God bless you, admit you into his vast paradise, and grant your family and loved ones patience and solace.
You will remain in our hearts, even if your body is gone.

Sahar Matarneh/ Jordan, Education Specialist and Community Development Expert
With hearts heavy with sorrow, I mourn the passing of our true friend and a genuine pan-Arab, our brother Yousef Hajjar.
Our teacher and mentor, deeply devoted to the causes of our Arab nation and childhood, thousands of mercies on your pure soul. Many honorable people across our Arab nation will miss you dearly.
O God, make his grave one of the gardens of paradise. “We belong to God, and to him we shall return”.

Dr. Najat Al-Faqih/ Yemen, Academician Specialized in Early Childhood Education.
Professor Youssef, may your kind soul, so full of purity and serenity, be blessed with abundant mercy and light. I learned so much from you. Professor Youssef was a scholar and an advocate who deeply cared about the concerns of childhood, championing it, and advancing it everywhere.
May your soul rest in peace and your memory endure forever.
