Alejandro Acosta Ayerbe/ Colombia: Former General Director of the International Center for Education and Human Development (CINDE Foundation) in Colombia

9 October 2026

Another life to celebrate. Yousef was very close to Martha Arango, founder of CINDE, and from the moment we met at the CG, I could appreciate the strength of his positions, his ability to understand situations, to find alternatives, and to promote collaborative action. I also enjoyed his warmth, solidarity, and zest for life. I was so fortunate to have known him.

My deepest condolences to his colleagues in the various spaces he enriched with his presence.
