The 51st issue of Khotwa (Step) magazine, dated April 2025, has been released. Khotwa is a magazine specialized in early childhood, published by the Arab Council for Childhood and Development in partnership with the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND).
This issue features a special file titled “Children and War”, which explores the impact of wars and conflicts on children from all aspects—physical, psychological, social, and educational. It also includes a variety of articles covering topics such as child harassment and the issue of marginalized children, along with artistic and educational content—such as an activity, a story, poems, experiences, and insights—that contribute to child development.
The issue also includes supplements: an interactive children’s story titled One Planet, accompanied by an animated video of the story, and an interactive activity titled Puppet Dolls from Plates.
It is worth noting that the main file of the upcoming issue will focus on the topic of digital education—a growing challenge that will influence the future of children—underscoring the urgent need for collective efforts to prepare and empower them for this digital future.
