ECDAN’s new Executive Leadership Council

 

The Early Childhood Development Action Network has launched its new Executive Leadership Council on October 27, 2020. ANECD is pleased to join the Council represented by its Executive Director, Dr Ghassan Issa, to carry the child rights challenges in the Arab region crisis-situation, and to champion and prioritize investments

The representatives of the launched Executive Leadership Council are:

  • Mr. Borhene Chakroun, Director for the Division for Policies and Lifelong Learning Systems at UNESCO
  • Dr Ghassan Issa, General Coordinator of Arab Network for Early Childhood Development (ANECD) and Arab Resource Collective (ARC)
  • Mrs. Hana Brixi, Manager for the Human Capital Project, the World Bank Group
  • Professor Joan Lombardi, Global Early Childhood Expert
  • Mrs. Liana Ghent, Director of International Step by Step Association
  • Professor Lynette Okengo, Executive Director of the Africa Early Childhood Network
  • Dr Mohammad Musa, Executive Director of BRAC International
  • Mr. Nikolaj Gilbert, President and CEO of PATH
  • Mr. Omar Abdi, Deputy Executive Director for programmes at UNICEF
  • Mr. Laugharn, President and CEO of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation
  • H.R.H Princess Sarah Zeid of Jordan, UNHCR Patron for Maternal & Newborn Health; Special Advisor to WFP on Maternal & Child Health and Nutrition, and Co-Convener of the Roadmap to Accelerate Progress for Every Newborn Humanitarian Settings 2020-2025
