The “Childhood and Development” periodical (CDP), published by the Arab Council for Childhood and Development, has been awarded the highest rating among Egyptian scientific journals in the field of childhood and early childhood education studies. The evaluation was based on a set of scientific criteria.

The ranking was issued by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, the authority responsible for evaluating Egyptian universities and their academic standards, in addition to assessing scientific conferences, journals, and accrediting academic degrees.

“Childhood and Development” is a peer-reviewed academic periodical published by the Arab Council for Childhood and Development with the support of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND). The periodical is dedicated to promoting enlightened scientific thought addressing childhood issues in Arab countries. It publishes studies, research papers, articles, practical experiences, book reviews, academic dissertations, reports on conferences, seminars, and roundtable discussions, in addition to translations in various areas related to childhood. To date, 51 issues have been published.
