In Loving Memory of Youssef – Champion of Child Rights and Human Dignity

Dear Friends, Colleagues, and Partners,

It is with profound sadness and deep respect that we share the sad news of passing of our beloved friend, colleague, brother and mentor, a lifelong activist, Youssef Hajjar. He passed away peacefully in Paphos-Cyprus after sudden medical complications.

Youssef leaves behind an indelible legacy across the Arab region and globally. A fierce advocate for child rights, early childhood development, and human dignity, his visionary leadership shaped countless lives. As a co-founder of the Arab Resource Collective (ARC), Chair of the Board of the Consultative Group for ECCD, and member of the Advisory Board of the Arab Network for Early Childhood Development (ANECD), he brought wisdom, warmth, and unwavering commitment to our collective cause.

To all who worked closely alongside him, Youssef was far more than a mere business partner; he was a mentor, an inspiration, and a cherished friend. In honor of his memory, we renew our commitment to honoring his vision and continuing to build a new approach together through CCECCD.

May his memory be eternal, and may his legacy remain a constant source of inspiration in our shared work.
