UNICEF: Global Webinar Series on Caring for the Caregiver Initiative
21 May 2026
UNICEF will host a three-part global webinar series this June to present findings from its Caring for the Caregiver initiative. The upcoming events follow a significant six-country evaluation recently published in The Lancet Global Health.
The initiative uses simple behavior change strategies to reduce caregiver stress, anxiety, and depression. By building confidence and social support, the program ultimately fosters healthier developmental outcomes for children.
The series is designed to bridge the gap between empirical evidence and practical execution. It targets researchers, policymakers, and practitioners working in early childhood development and mental health.
Over three consecutive weeks, participants will explore the initial data and discuss cultural adaptation. The sessions will also address future priorities for scaling these programs globally through strategic partnerships.
The first webinar will focus on core research findings and reflections from in-country authors. To ensure global accessibility, language interpretation will be available in Arabic, French, and Spanish.
